Wooden Shutters

Entry-Level hardwood shutters use basswood for the panels with painted MDF frames. These shutters can be upgraded by using basswood for both the frames and the panels. Basswood is a generic name given to about 30 species of tree.
Mid-Ranged shutters are manufactured in paulownia (left); a very light, fine-grained warp-resistant wood. It grows to maturity in 7-10 years making it very sustainable; as it re-grows from the original root ball once harvested.
Top Of Our Range is a shutter made from white teak (right); an ethically sourced high quality wood with a tight grain. This wood comes with a linear grain that is ideal for painting and gives a flat, uniform and premium finish.
